Trustees:

Mrs Ragnheidur McQueen:  ragna@shineproject.org.uk

Ragnheidur is a qualified nurse and married, mother of three.  Originally from Iceland she enjoys visiting her family there frequently along with skiing and gardening.  She has been involved in various women's work over the years and has recently taken over the position as chair of trustees.

Mr Luke Price: luke@shineproject.org.uk

Luke is a documentary Film Editor who has worked in broadcast television for 20 years and runs his own business in Bournemouth. Luke is married with 4 children aged 10-16 and loves living by the sea. Any time of year you can find the Price's on the beach braving the elements and hunting out adventure

Mrs Janina Cox: janina@shineproject.org.uk

Janina is married and has a daughter aged 1 who keeps her busy. Janina and her family love the outdoors and going for walks. She also enjoys being creative and singing. Originally from Germany, Janina has worked with people with Mental Health issues and Learning Difficulties for a number of years and she now works for a local authority.

Peter recently retired after 20 years with Barclays, working in financial reporting, he enjoys keeping his hand in finance as Treasurer for The Shine Project.  Peter and his wife Gill moved from London to Bournemouth in the Summer 2014.  They are passionate about relationships and together host The Marriage Course catering to couples who want to invest in their relationship.

Co-ordinators:

Mrs Anne Clarkson:

Anne is our lead co-ordinator and has been working for Shine for the last seven years. A trained beauty therapist and mother of three, she manages to put both those skill sets to use within a Shine session. Anne’s passionate about her job and loves to see the girls develop over the eight weeks she works with them.

Mrs Liz Davies:

Liz started working as a co-ordinator for Shine in October 2013. After a career spanning 20 years in the corporate world she left to pursue her own business, focusing on enabling people to better understand themselves and improve their relationships inside and outside of the work environment.  Since becoming self-employed, Liz has qualified as a youth worker and supports her local church youth club as a volunteer on a weekly basis.  She is passionate about enabling young women to achieve their full potential and feels privileged to be given the opportunity to work with so many young girls through delivering the Shine course. She is married with 2 children and loves family adventure holidays
